Lots of water under our bridge; and miracles too!

April 3, Crowley Oklahoma with bro. And sis JD Smith, began our big adventure!

The sweet people made us feel like family, and on a Wednesday night, you meet the “faithful” and hungry.

Jesus never fails.

He supplied the needs.

old short lady driving BIG Rig

Old highway 66 was a very nostalgic with stops along the way at Watsons BBQ in Tucumcari . This was an old feed store with a restaurant in the back.

Then, we moved on to Gallup NM to spend the night with our nose pointed to California.

But to get to Our first stop, was 10 hour driving days. LONG road straight; hot and dry.

I persuaded bro. Bobby to let me drive and give his shoulders some relief.

After all, anybody that’s still getting up on Texas time @4:30 in the NM morning, is gonna have tight shoulder muscles!!!

Arizona was another story.
It’s so high above sea level; it couldn’t figure out if it was spring; winter; or summer coming through!! At one point we had wind; sleet; hail; snow; on this side of the mountain, and turned a curve…. Wallah!!! Sunshine no shadows and green lush, gorgeous plains.
God and his design is amazing.

Finally. California. Up up up to McKinleyville and the great service with bro. Jim Ray and church family.

After a great lunch by bro. Ray,

We got to visit one of bro. Bobby’s great aunt’s (aunt Nelda Rose) in the nursing home there in Eureka CA. We reminisced. We cried. We laughed. Next time we see them will be in Glory!

Loved traveling through the Redwood forest, where gasoline was $3.50-$6 a gallon!

We gulped! The RV drank, we filled again and said Thank you Lord for the RV to travel in!

Every penny was in that gas tank. Hehe

Back down to San Francisco, where bro. Bobby and I celebrated 35 years of marriage, and ate seafood @ fisherman’s Warf. Definitely won’t forget that mile marker!!

Riverdale Assembly of God on Tuesday night proved to be one of the best altar services, we could have wished for. The young people and older, alike, got eternal energy, straight from the throne. Jesus has proven time and again. If we are
Willing, HE is faithful. The WHOLE Spencer family is coming through the fire, and I’m just expecting God to give them complete, exceptional victory, at the end.

Wednesday, over at the Gospel Defenders in Merced; came one of the sweetest services, we ALL participated in. Including down to the young school aged children.

After they sang the Glory down, then we needed to just GO HOME! But, Jesus knew the ones that needed to hear what their Texas family of believers had to sing and say. We loved making new Lasting friendships with the Hilton’s.

All good things must come to an end; so California was left in the dust; and New Mexico was waiting at the ending of this tour.

Arrived In Eunice, JD happened to have an RV’r move out and we grabbed his spot before anyone changed their minds! Thank you JD!!

Saturday Lawanda (Ludy) and the Pilcher sisters, and nieces, put together a “ladies tea” each year, and this year WE got to participate, including dressing up; wearing Ludy’s hats; and fellowshipping with the community ladies, laughing; singing; and declaring the works of God and what HE has done.

Jesus helped me.

Jesus helped Ranessa.

He never fails! Did I say that already?

It needed repeating.

Then Hendrix Trio sang outside on the street corner and everyone within the sound of the power system heard the good news!!! All over again.

One of my child hood friends came over from Odessa and we visited like school girls! Great to renew old acquaintances .

Finally. Saturday night, We headed back over to Texas and like to have never found an RV park to stay at in Odessa.

It is oil country and all the folks working the NM pipeline and oil fields, have all the RV parks wrapped up and ain’t going anywhere! No one nighters to be had. God finally moved on our behalf, and we found one. Halleluyer.

Bro. Bobby’s not so easy going at 11:30 on Saturday night when the park is not clear WHERE you are supposed to plug up! Ha! None of us are.

Sunday morning at Grandview church of God; we were so honored to have Jesus walk up and down the aisles, healing, delivering, setting the captive free. We had church!!!

Then, our dear friends Amy and Jeff Russell, invited us over for lunch, and oh my my!!

It was a GOD ordained trip, from Oklahoma to California to New Mexico. IF they were all that easy, and crowned with Gods Glory; we would hit the road full time if Jesus says “go”.

On a personal note….

We pulled into Ft Worth to spend the last evening of our tour @Nella’s; my older sister, to pick her up:

for she and I to go to Branson a few days with our long lost cousins!

There were 18 of us girls, and mercy! My sides hurt from all the laughing. Might’ve been from all the eatin too!

Except.

I didn’t realize how sick Nella, my sister was, and when we got back from that little trip, my other two sisters plus myself insisted she go to the doctor. She did.

I made the trip.

Little sister Tonya made the trip from

Alabama and our other sister Judy, just older than Nella, lives there in the metroplex.

Long story short. Nella was hospitalized, and diagnosed with stage IV Ovarian cancer.

I stayed until she was out of the hospital and settled with hospice coming in 3x a week to drain fluid from her abdomen.

God has this. He has not forgotten us, and we are expecting full healing at the end of this Valley.

We trust Him fully.

Meanwhile, back on the road,

Hendrix Trio had a weekend scheduled in Mississippi & Alabama, mid May.

On the way from MS to Sunday night service, in AL, a guy pulling a long black trailer, side swiped us, and broke the windshield; tore off the side mirror; and tore off RV hood.

Could’ve been a disaster, but God and his protection, is limitless. We are living witnesses to it.

Our service that morning at Latimer Assembly had been outstanding, so we knew the enemy was trying to discourage the progress.

Sunday night, Ranessa gave her healing testimony and the young adults started filling up the altar, while we were singing. Thank you Lord.

GOD is so faithful, and I love living in HIS presence.

Hendrix Trio was invited to sing in Oklahoma Memorial Day weekend, with Redefined quartet and our other friends, 8th street @ the Boiling Springs Memorial Day sing.

Ranessa was not able to sing with us.

She took some OTC sleep aide Thursday night prior, and it threw her into a PTSD mind altering episode.

She couldn’t speak.

We took her to the nearest ER to Wetumka, after Bobby and I did our duetting best, with the Williamsons, Sunday morning and afternoon on the town Square.

Had an awesome weekend, despite the Devil trying to shut us up.

Our hearts were so heavy.

Satan has a way of making us think, this is going to be your new norm.

We knew he was just trying to shut us up!

We declared life.

We declared “God has not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, AND a SOUND mind.”

2 Timothy 1:7

We were in Dallas celebrating her birthday, June 8, and she started speaking!!!!

Reading the scriptures and promises of God from His word, He had given her.

It was beautiful.

She has been noisy ever since.

We love noise. We will not ever complain, she’s talking too much, again!

Summer has hit. June has already said bye. July is here and since I don’t do well with the heat….. well let’s just say, I stay inside most days.
We are praying about upgrading our RV to a newer one with a bath and a half, and better sleeping quarters for Ranessas back.

Will you help us pray? We have found what we want. But rates right now are so high, we have decided to wait until after Election. So far, Bro. Bobby has had to make the payments, so, he knows our budget!

It WILL be GOD if we get one, but I refuse to limit the Holy one. Until next time…
I’ll keep Rambling
