I LOVE Camping...

Always have. I love it so much I hardly talk when I’m around the camp fire.

This past Friday, Ashley’s (our daughter in law) brother was getting married about 20 min from

Maumel park.

We had stayed there after having services close in the area; but his one was “planned”

Thank goodness we planned! Park was full.

We are not the only ones wanting to be “unplugged” and have some much needed R&R.

Friday after the wedding; we turned the wrong way on hey 300 and the RV is too big to just ....turn a Uturn! I got out and stopped the traffic and thankfully we had found a little place off the side of the road that gave us enough space to turn around. Hehe.

You should’ve  those folks coming around the bend when they realized this little lady was in

The middle of their road!

Ooooohhhh. Jibbies.scareewy.

We got to the camp ground. No Wood to burn. No big Kroger or Walmart or Albertsons or Lowe’s or Home Depot close for us to purchase any.... Halleluyer! Ryan was traveling down after work to meet up with us. He saved the day and brought us bundles of firewood( we had to ration it heheh). Man!

Was great.

Saturday time to leave cake too soon but.....Hot Springs was in the “general” area of the way we wanted to travel; Sometimes an hour out of the way, for Mcclards is well worth it; so we HAD to make a pit stop and get some famous BBQ.

I had a chicken breast; Ryan our son had cooked over the fire; and some mcclards bbq sauce on my salad. It was scrumptious.

We arrived at Wickes PCG after dark and couldn’t see the sign and wheeeee. Passed it right up.! Yep you got it!

Had to turn around again. This time tho. There was a big parking lot at the dollar general. Thank you Jesus!

Sunday morning the spirit of God moved and the alter service was “ALIVE “ that explains it!

Chris; Pam and son ~Weston Burke took us to eat Mexican food in Mena. Some of our great friends. They sing so beautifully and if you are ever up that way, don’t pass it up!! Stop in. They are wonderful. Right on hwy. 71

Sunday night was no different when God showed up. We normally sing some where different on Sunday night than Sunday morning, but this weekend was special.

Bro. Burke wanted Hendrix trio both services. It sure made it nice not to have to set up tear down And repeat that.

Over all it was a much needed weekend.

Just remember! Don’t pass it up! Jesus is coming and we gotta be focused. Can’t miss that!!

Until then. Look up

Rhonda
